The National AIDS Council regrets to announce the death of Christiane Marty-Double.
A Professor of Medicine and Vice-President of the non-profit organisation AIDES for more than a decade, Christiane Marty-Double was made a member of the National AIDS Council on 2 January 2008 at the suggestion of the Minister for Health and Sports.
The CNS wishes to honour Christiane Marty-Double’s constant involvement in the work of the Council, as well as her determination to defend human rights, particularly the rights of the most vulnerable individuals.
Professor Willy Rozenbaum, President of the National AIDS Council, together with his fellow-members of the Council, seek to express their deep emotion and their support for the family and friends of Christiane Marty-Double.
